"I'm 20 and I came to Canada in August. I spent 3 weeks in Calgary living with friends of my family who took care about everything. I didn't have to worry about anything. Then I decided to finally go to Toronto. I had no idea where to live and how to apply for a job. The only thing I knew was that my German agency had a partner office in Toronto. The office was easy to find and everyone gave me a warm welcome. They really helped me a lot with everything like writing a CV, how to find a place to stay, how to dress for an interview, how to present yourself to the best – to highlight yourself! Simply everything. And it must have been good because I got hired right away and found a place to stay just a few days later. I think that if Tamwood didn't help me I would still be dropping CVs. "As a group leader and teacher I was really impressed by the great accommodations, spaces & rooms and all the structure at SFU last summer (July 2006). Besides the modern and comfortable accommodation, it was a great pleasure to work with the Tamwood staff who have proven to be highly competent, really effective and leaders who really care about kids and teens and their needs. Our 90 students had great fun, improved their English language skills and learned a lot at the classes with teachers Debbie & Shazia, who were so lovely with our students.
